I have over 25 years of global experience in corporate finance, M&A, banking and entrepreneurship. I am a Co-Founder and Director of Cidel Bank & Trust, an international private bank, and the co-Founder of various alternative investment funds. In addition, since 2008, I have been able to build a contrarian and diverse real estate and private equity portfolio and partnered in founding a Canadian venture capital equity group – Igan Partners. Now one of the largest Health Tech VC funds in Canada.
I have been involved as a seed/founder investor in a wide variety of businesses globally including, life sciences, financial, consumer services, real estate, resources and banking. I continue as a proactive investor in several of these entities, as well as a mentor and advisor to Executive management. Whilst I am now focused on managing my own Family Office assets, I enjoy and am active in mentoring and empowering fascinating younger entrepreneurs in their quest for success.
My wife and I are very focused on philanthropic causes, primarily grassroots initiatives where we can help empower, mentor and grow the cause and its public profile. Michael Aron graduated as a Chartered Accountant.
